What is Supermotard or Supermoto ? 
This discipline was created by a channel of Californian TV, there are about twenty years, with the aim of making be in confrontation to itself the tenors of every speciality: road racing, cross and supercross, grasstrack (race track in earth).
Supermotard was imported and adapted on our french territory at the beginning of the years' 80 .
It was encouraged and revitalized by two visionaries buff by the motorcycle sport, real "breeders" of champions : Mr Marcel and Mrs Jeanine SEURAT with the very famous SIMA indissociable of the HUSVQVARNA Motorcycles .
Then it was ed to the rank of art in the years ' 90s , by Stephane and Boris Chambon, Patrick Demaria, William Rubio, then in the 2000s by Jérome Giraudo, Alex Thiébault, Chareyre Brothers, Thierry Van Den Bosch, Doctors ès-sliding of the Hexagon known and recognized both for their talent, their kindness and their simplicity: Dear Sirs, just a word: Cheer!
The tracks consist of 30 % ground and 70 % tarmac. They have moreover the advantage of not having the retreat which the 300 km/h impose & more reached on the circuits speed ; this proximity transforms
each event, for the spectators, in a Live show: Music & Light guaranteed.
The public can reach the pits where the official factories, teams or satellites are present. The park runners is impeccably organized: the trucks and hospitalities are glowing and as with the parade.
The drivers play the game, devote themselves to meetings of autographs and take really much pleasure on the races .
Spectacular and media, sport-spectacle if it is, but all the opposite of one “walks asshole”, the Championnat de France Supermotard, perfectly managed and organized by ABC COMMUNICATION, gave birth to a few seasons ago of a Supermotard European Championship .
Its interests are such as the FIM and Youthstream were largely inspired some to create, in 2002, the World Supermoto Championship where the french drivers appear in very good place.
The prestige of a Supermoto World Championship as well as the sports results of our national pilots open the door of the media general practitioners and make it possible to give, on this sporting discipline, a blow of projector. Supermotard is the rising discipline of the motorcyclist sport in France, Europe and on a world level; from now on, many are the countries which also organize national championships on the French model.
Now called Supermoto, the twice championships of Europe and the World are organized and managed jointly by YOUTHSTREAM, the FIM & the UEM . Series FIM S1/S2 & UEM S3/Open proceed on the same events and the same calendar.
Moreover, the interest growing and the means invested by the other nations for this Xtreme sport of slide confirm if it of it is necessary on the one hand, the current level of the French Supermotard Championship and the European Supermoto Championship ; on the other hand, the need for organizing for the future decade, the changing of these sportsmen of great talent .
